“From the Darkness”
I made this spooky carving in what is referred to as a “gall.” This is a hollow, oblong growth on the tree that was created due to some form of stress to the tree.
I began the carving with a chainsaw, and finished with small hand tools. There is no paint, stain or dye added to this carving. It is completely natural, other than a couple spray coats KF polyurethane. This carving can stand on its own or be hung. I include a certificate with al of my wood spirits that tells a bit about me and my process.

Yes, I sometimes take custom orders :) Contact me and we can discuss the specifics.
I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
