I carve everyday for a living and I love it! I made this carving using several different tools. I did the bulk of the carving using a chainsaw. I refined the sculpture using rotary hand tools and grinders. Some of the bits that I use are as thin as needles. These allow for lots of detail. I finished this piece with several coats of spray urethane and some splashes of acrylic paint.
This carving will look great on your dresser, holding your jewelry. It will also be perfect for holding candy on your kitchen table. The uses for this guy are endless! You decide his purpose :)

I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
