This is a little bear carved in Cedar. I just love the natural colors of this wood.
I made this carving using a chainsaw almost entirely. I added just a few little details with a burr, but all saw other than that. I finished this carving with Sherwin Williams Superdeck oil, so it can be enjoyed indoors or out.
There is a heck of a lot of detail in this piece for being made almost entirely with a chainsaw. I really, really like this piece!

This wood is entirely dry! This carving will never split or crack because I removed almost all of the moisture from the wood before carving. You won’t find this anywhere else in chainsaw carvings!

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
