This is a wood carving of a wood spirit. This unique piece will make a perfect wood gift. This will be a great piece of original wall art to add to your interior design.

11 1/2" tall, 5" wide, 2 1/2" thick..
This unique piece of wall art is hand carved in a Maple burl. I carve using rotary hand tools, grinders, burrs, sandpaper, small knives.....Really, I use whatever it takes to get the piece to meet my mind's eye :)
I include a certificate with all of my wood spirit carvings. It tells just a bit about me and my process. I sign and date the back of all of my spirits.
Everything in my shop is made by hand, by me, Josh.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I sometimes take custom orders :) Contact me and we can discuss the specifics.
I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.
I am also happy to make custom chainsaw carvings of about any animal or object you'd like.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
