This is a wall-hanging wood carving that measures 8 1/4" tall, 2 1/2" wide and 2" thick.
I signed and dated the back of this carving. I also included a hanger on the back. I include a certificate with all of my wood spirit carvings telling a bit about me and my process.

I created this sculpture in a piece of Ironwood. I began with a branch and ended with this wild man. I carve using rotary hand tools. I begin with large, aggressive cutters to get my shape and I finish with bits as small as needles. These small details require a lot of time and patience but the end result is well worth the effort.
I used one coat of sealer on this carving before finishing with oil paint.
Everything in my shop is made by hand, by me, Josh.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
