I carved this guy in a piece of driftwood. It’s always interesting to discover the grain of a piece of wood such as this. I used several different bits, knives and sandpaper to bring this guy to life. He’s finished with polyurethane and a bit of oil paint.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I sometimes take custom orders :) Contact me and we can discuss the specifics.
I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.
I am also happy to make custom chainsaw carvings of about any animal or object you'd like.
I know that, as a customer, you expect a certain level of control over the custom process and I, as an artist, expect a certain level of freedom. When we are able to meet in the middle, beautiful things can happen :)

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
