This heart is a wood carving that makes a perfect 5th anniversary wood gift for her. It is a unique wood gift that was hand carved by me, Josh Carte. This heart necklace is perfect because it can be personalized.

I made this heart carving in a piece of Buckeye burl wood. Burl wood is very unique and beautiful. The grain interlocks and takes wonderful form. I carved this heart using hand tools, and it is finished with several coats of sealer.
SHIPPING IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE CARVING TO THE USA! Also included is a leather necklace.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I sometimes take custom orders :) Contact me and we can discuss the specifics.
I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.
I am also happy to make custom chainsaw carvings of about any animal or object you'd like.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
