2 3/4” tall, 2 1/2” wide, 1/4” thick
I made this pendant carving in an Elk antler. This part of the antler is referred to as the burr/rosette. I really like the natural character of burrs and the unique, round shape.
I cut this piece very thin so that it is light and comfortable to wear.
I made this carving using carbide burrs, small knives, sandpaper, polyurethane, and a tad bit of oil paint to accentuate my cuts.
I have signed and dated the back of this carving. A leather necklace will be included with the pendant.

I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.
I am also happy to make custom chainsaw carvings of about any animal or object you'd like.
I know that, as a customer, you expect a certain level of control over the custom process and I, as an artist, expect a certain level of freedom. When we are able to meet in the middle, beautiful things can happen :)

My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
