I carved this guy in an oddball piece of wood. There are bark inclusions and voids. I used one of the natural projections to give him something to smoke :)
“Smoking Wood”
10” tall, 9” wide, 2 1/2” thick
This carving began as just a plain chunk of wood. I used several different grinders to cut away at the wood until a face emerged. I worked my way down from large, aggressive bits to tiny, delicate cutters. I finished this piece with spray urethane and a touch of oil paint.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I sometimes take custom orders :) Contact me and we can discuss the specifics.
I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.
I am also happy to make custom chainsaw carvings of about any animal or object you'd like.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
